Book a space - Sheila Silver Library

Please note that Student Meeting Room bookings have changed. Placing a booking for student meeting rooms in the Sheila Silver Library at City Campus requires email addresses from two members of your group. This is to prioritise group use in spaces intended for group discussions. Individuals may book a space in the Individual Study Area on the 3rd floor. 

You should use this page to book an Individual Study Space in the Sheila Silver Library.

Booking Instructions

  1. The list below shows the seats available on the date you select. To find the next available study space, click the “Next Available” button.
  2. Click on an available box in the booking grid to reserve a seat. This will temporarily hold the space for the rest of the day.
  3. Click the “Submit Times” button to confirm your booking. This will sign you in using our single sign-on system.
  4. You will then be shown our Terms & Conditions before being asked to continue.
  5. Finally, click “Submit My Booking” to complete the process. If you don’t click this button, your booking will not be confirmed.
